You are obviously at the "anguish" section of the book.

I Purchased your book while I was on a layover at a train station last week. I started to cry when you spoke with your audience, and I cried my heart out when you said goodbye to Sprite. I work in a veterinary clinic and I have 2 dogs. They are everything to me and I tell them everyday, many times over, how much I love them. They give me more than anything else in my life can. One of my dogs is a rescue, 1/4 lab & 3/4 Pit. The initial owners cut her ears off with scissors. She was to be used to fight or for bait. I thank God everyday that she is in my life and has not had to suffer whatever was in store for her. My 2nd dog is a Pressa Canario and being alone as a female, I feel more secure with him than any form of weapon. He is a big lover but I have no doubt he would be there for me if need be. My dogs sleep with me and it fulfills me to have them close. I know what you felt for Sprite, I've been through that scenario a couple of times and I can't emagine going through it with Vala or Bogart. So, I don't think about it, I just love them everyday. Thank You for your wonderful book and your love of dogs. There is nothing else to compare.

I just picked up a paperback copy at Costco for my mother-in-law for Christmas. I won't read it; I cry just listening to country music!
